HelloZakho ("we", "us") publishes the HelloZakho mobile app and this website, a travel guide for the city of Zakho in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This policy explains what information they handle.
HelloZakho does not require an account and does not collect personal information. The app and this website do not use analytics, advertising identifiers or tracking of any kind. We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
Your saved places, your trip plan and your language choice are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
All places, photos and descriptions are bundled inside the app, so it works offline. The Map tab loads map tiles from the OpenStreetMap tile servers (openstreetmap.org) when you open it; like any web request this sends your IP address to that server, and OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy applies to those requests. Nothing else leaves your phone.
The emergency-numbers tool hands a number to your phone's dialer. The call is placed by your phone, not by the app, and the app does not know whether you called.
HelloZakho is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
